Friday 3/27: Today the students began to review for the Chapter 13 Trig test. The test will be next week Tuesday.
Thursday 3/26: Today the students continued to look at problems wiht translating Sine and Cosine functions. There is no homework. Unit Circle Quiz on Quadrants 1 and 2 is on Monday.
Wednesday 3/25: Today the students worked on translating Sine and Cosine Functions. Tonight's homework is to fill in the stats for problems 6 - 11, and graph 6, 8, 10, 11. Also, a unit circle quiz on quadrants one and two will be on Monday. The quiz is attached below.
Tuesday 3/24: Today the students quizzed over 13.4 and 13.5. I introduced Translations of Sine and Cosine Functions. Tonight's homework is to finish the parent functions for example 3 and to fill out the stats.
Monday 3/23: Today the students did a sort to review Sine and Cosine Functions. Tomorrow is the quiz. The homework is to study for the quiz. They should look over Friday's assignment, and finish tonight's quiz review.
Friday 3/20: Today the students worked in groups going over review problems for Lesson 13-4 and 13-5. Quiz will be on Tuesday.
Thursday 3/19: Today we went over Lesson 13-4 worksheet, and began Lesson 13-5. Tonight's homework is HW #9 WS, problems 1 and 2 only. The quiz on 13-4 and 13-5 will next week Tuesday, March 24.
Wednesday 3/18: Today the students continued to work on the Sine function. Tonight's assignment is Lesson 13-4 WS.
Tuesday 3/17: Today the students learned how to graph the sine function, lesson 13-4 from the book. The homework is HW #8 w, front side only.
Monday 3/16: Today the students had a sub, and reviewed Lessons 13-2 and 13-3 with a worksheet.
Friday 3/13: Today the students learned about periodic functions. Tonight's Homework is HW #7 LEsson 13-1 WS.
Thursday 3/12: Today the students took a quiz and did a ferris wheel problem to introduce Lesson 13-1, periodic functions.
Wednesday 3/11: Today the students finished Lesson 13-3 and took a quiz on 13-2. Tonight's homework is to finish HW #5 and HW #6 WS. There will also be a quiz on the 1st quadrant of the unit circle tomorrow. Memorize it!
Tuesday 3/10: Today the students began lesson 13-3. Tonigh't homework is problems 1-7.
Monday 3/09: Today the students finished the unit circle investigation. Their homework is the 13-2 angles quiz review, and to finish the unit circle worksheet.
Friday 3/06: Today the began the unit circle investigation. No Homework.
Thursday 3/05: Today the students began lesson 13-2, Angles and the unit circle. Students should understand what the initial and terminal side of and angle are, understand what coterminal angles are, and how to find refernce angles. Tonight's homework is HW #4 WS.
Monday 3/02: Today the students worked more with special right triangles. Unit Circle will begin on Thursday. ACT on Tuesday, and on Wed only Sophomores and Seniors.
Friday 2/27: Today the students reviewed trig and took a quiz.
Thursday 2/26: Today the students used the pythagorean theorem to develop the rules for special right triangles. No homework
Wednesday 2/25: Today the students worked in groups reviewing, Sine, Cosine and Tangent. Quiz on Friday.
Tuesday 2/24: Today the students reviewed Sine, Cosine and Tangent. This can be found in Lesson 14-3 of their textbook. Tonight's HW is HW #1 problems 1-4, 6,7,9, 11,13, and 15 only.

Tuesday 2/10: Today the studets began to review for the Chapter 8 test on Exponential and Logartihmic Functions. Test is on Thursday.
Monday 2/09: Today the students worked on Leson 8-6, Natural Logs. Tonight's HW is worksheet #6 on Natural Logs.
Friday 2/06: Today the students did a review worksheet in class of Lesson 8.4 and 8.5. It should have been finished and corrected in class. What was not finished is homework, and students may check their answers below.
Thursday 2/05: Today the students worked on Lesson 8-5, Solving Exponential and Logarithmic Equations. There is no homework tonight.
Wednesday 2/04: Today the students worked on Lesson 8-4, Properties of Logarithms. Tonight's homework is page 449 from the book problems 1,3,5,7,9, 11-18, 19-24. Below is a video link students can watch to see more practice of today's lesson.

Friday 1/30: Today the students took a quiz on Lessons 8.1 - 8.3. There is no homework for the weekend.
Thursday 1/29: Today the students worked on a quiz review. It will be collected tomorrow, along with yesterday's assignment, Lesson 8.1 and 8.3 Review.
Wednesday 1/28: Today the students worked on graphing Logarithmic Functions and then began to review Lessons 8.1 and 8.3 Quiz on 8.1, 8.2 & 8.3 will be on Friday, 1/30.
Tuesday 1/27: Today the students worked on Lesson 8-3, Logarithms. Tonight's homework is from the book, page 441. This is to be done on page 9 of their notebook. They are to copy the problems on the lined paper and show work. They are to do problems 6-13 all, 15 - 25 odd.
Monday 1/26: Today the students worked on Lesson 8-2. Worksheet 8-2 is for hw and due tomorrow.
Friday 1/23: Today the students need finish the drug medication worksheet. We will discuss questions D and E on Monday in class.
Thursday 1/22: Today the students worked on Lesson 8-1, Exponential Functions. Tonight's homework is HW #1 WS.
Wednesday 1/21: Today the students did an m&m lab with exponential growth and decay. There is no hw. Supplies due by Friday.
Tuesday 1/20: Happy Second Semester!!! Please read over syllabus, and have parent letter signed and returned by Friday. Supplies are also due by Friday. If possible, try to have spiral notebook by Thursday, 1/22.
