Wednesday 1/13: Today the students worked on the Linear/Algebra I Exam Review Problems 1-8.

Monday 1/11: Today the students took the quiz and began working on the Stats portion of the exam review. Problems 1-12 are assigned. Students need to do work on lined paper.

Friday 1/08: Rational Functions Quiz Review: Lesson 9.2 & 9.3 Quiz on Monday.

Wednesday 12/17: Polynomial Test Review. Test is on Friday. Extra Help after School Today.

Tuesday 12/15: Today the students continued to solve polynomials using the Rational Root theorem. Tonight's homework is Practice 6-5 & 6-6 Worksheet. Test is on Friday.

Monday 12/14: Today the students worked with the rational root theorem and the fundamental theorem of Algebra. Lesson 6-5 and 6-6. Tonight's homework is page 337 problems 1 - 7 odd. TEST is on Friday. Extra help is available on Wednesday after school until 2:55. Please study your SAT VOCAB. VOCAB test is next Monday, December 21.

Thursday 12/03: Do problems 1- 8 from page 306. Please copy the problem, list the lead coefficient as positive or negative, list the degree as even or odd, then draw the arrows for the end behavior. Do problems 1 - 6 from page 318. You may use synthetic division if you choose to do so. Problem #5 must be done with long division, synthetic will not work.

Wednesday 12/02: Tonight's hw is page 311, problems 2- 12 even, 16 - 25, 29 - 32. You do not need to graph 16 - 20, and questions 21 - 25 can be written in factored form instead of standard form.

Tuesday 12/01: Notes on 6-2. Finish the assigned problems from notes for homework. Study for tomorrow's quiz from HW 6-1 bookwork. You may use your check understanding from today as well to guide your studying.

Monday 11/30: Investigate End behavior activity. Homework is to finish the polynomial quick check. Glue to page 48 of notebook. Quiz on Lesson 6-1 is on Wednesday.

Monday 11/16: Today the students worked on problems from Lesson 5-8 page 289: problems 2,5,8,9,31,32,33. From the Chapter Review page 294 and 295 problems 35, 36, 39, 40, 41, 42, 47, 48, 55, 57 page 294 - 295. Test on Quadratics is on Friday.

Friday 11/13. Today the students began the Quadratic Formula and did a quiz retake on factoring. No HW assigned.

Thursday 11/12: Today the students finished Lesson 5-6, simplifying radicals and complex numbers. Today's assignment is HW #6.

Tuesday 11/10: Today the students practiced with white boards, and then did the following problems in their notebook on pages 37 - 38. Problems 1,5,6,8,9,13,14,15 on page 266 from the book. 3 question quiz on factoring will be given tomorrow first thing.

Monday 11/09: Today we went over the quizzes from last week, and began Lesson 5-5, Solving Quadratics with factoring and by square rooting. Tonight's homework is to study for a 3 question quiz on factoring. They should study problems 25, 27, and 29 from HW #3, and problems 51, 52, 53, 54, 57, & 58 from HW #4. Answers for these assignments are posted under 1st quarter.
