Monday 11/01: Today the students were assigned the quiz review. We spent much of the hour going over questions, and addressing what they need to study.

Thursday 10/22: Today the students did scavenger hunt problems to review systems.
Wednesday 10/21: Today the students worked on solving systems by substitution and elimination. Their homework assignment is the 4 problems attached.
Tuesday 10/20: Today the students did a notebook check, got tests back, went over the process for test corrections as well. They then got into groups and reviewed solving systems by graphing. They needed to finish problems 1-3 as a group. There is no assigned homework tonight.
Monday 10/19: Today the studetns continued their work with piecewise functions. Their homework is HW #7 WS.

Tuesday 10/13: Today the students worked on the test review in class. They should study from it tonight and tomorrow to prepare for Thursday's test. I will be available for extra help after school tomorrow, Wednesday.
Monday 10/12: Today the students looked at average rate of change for non-linear functions. Tonight's homework is homework #5 WS. Below is a video tutorial for working out average rate of change problems.
Friday 10/09: Today the students worked on Homework #4, problems 1-18.
Thursday 10/08: Today the students took notes to summerize the transformations and behaviors of absolute value functions. They took the quiz. There is no homework.
Wednesday 10/07: Today the students turned in their shapes of Algebra activity from yesterday, and today did an investigation with the graphing calculator and absolute value. Problems 1-22 from the Investigation must be completed. Tonight's homework is the 4 problem quiz review on domain, range and functions. Tomorrow is a two question quiz.
Tuesday 10/06: Today the students did an activity called shapes of Algebra. The groups will finalize their work tomorrow. No homework.
Monday 10/05: Today the students reviewed, domain, range, and functions. Their homework is to finish the domain and range worksheet. An online graphing calculator can be found on my home page, or you may use this link.
Friday 10/02: Shortened class schedule today. The students finished their graphing card sort in class. If it was not finished, it was homework.
Thursday 10/01: Today students worked on graphing equations in standard form by finding x and y intercepts. They began a card sort in class. It will be finished tomorrow.
Wednesday 9/30: Today the students worked on graphing and writing linear equations (a review of Algebra) Tonight's homework is HW #1 WS.

Monday 9/28: Today the students reviewed for the quiz. They finished their stations and then began working on the quiz review. The quiz review worksheet is homework and due tomorrow.
Friday 9/25: Today the students did stations to review margin of error and normal distribution.
Thursday 9/24: Today's assignment is HW #6 WS. It is over normal distribution.
Wednesday 9/23: Today the students did some practice with normal distribution, lesson 12-7. There is no assigned homework. The quiz will be next week, Tuesday.
Tuesday 9/22: Today the students calculated sample proportions and margins of error. Tonights homework should be done on page 11 in their notebook. It is pg 667 problems 9-15.
Monday 9/21: Today the students looked at Data Distributions and Statistical Studies. Tonight's worksheet is attached.
Friday 9/18: Quiz no homework.
Thursday 9/17: Today the students reviewed for tomorrow's quiz. They should study their review tonight.
Wednesday 9/16: Today the students worked on understanding what a z-score is and how to calculate it. Tonight's homework is Homework #2/#3 worksheet. Quiz is on Friday.
Tuesday 9/15: Today the students worked on finding standard deviation and began to see how it represents an average of how far each data value deviates from the mean. Their homework tonight is to finish calculating the standard deviations by had for Data sets A, B, C, and D from yesterday's intro to standard deviation packet.
Monday 9/14: Today the students analyzed data spread. Tonight's homework is to finish the 4 box and whisker plots on the investigation worksheet, and to do page 1 only of the Intro to Standard Deviation Packet.
Friday 9/11: Today the students put together there notebooks, organized their binders, and used a calculator to make box and whisker plots. There is no homework.
Thursday 9/10: Today the student analyzed data and created box and whisker plots. Tonight's homework is HW #1 Worksheet.
Wednesday 9/09: Today the students analyzed measures of central tendency. Tonight's homework is to finish the last question from today's inclass activity. Students must give reasoning as to why they chose their answer. Supplies due by Friday.
